Maids for the 2014 Parade

The Louisiana Irish Italian Association is now accepting applications for Maids for the 2014 Parade. Applicants must be at least 15 years old to apply. The cost per maid is $700.00 which includes your ride in the Parade with a chance of becoming Queen, 10 tickets to the dinner dance ($500 value),Tiara, and three tickets to the Grand Marshall's dinner in January. Toasting Party at Stepbrother's Bar and Grill

Wednesday March 20th, 2013 from 4:00 pm - till.
Come enjoy free Miller Beer, Corn Beef, Cabbage, and Muffeletta's at Stepbrother's Bar and Grill located just off the corner of W. Napoleon Ave and Transcontinental in Metairie.

Dinner Dance

The Dinner Dance will take place on Friday March 22nd, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport from 8:00 pm - Midnight. The cost is $50 per person, which includes an Irish-Italian Buffet, Miller Beer, Wine, and entertainment provided by "The Top Cats." E-Mail Jason Renton through our contact page for tickets and or information. Payment must be made in advance in order for us to give the hotel and accurate number of guests attending. Checks should be made payable to La Irish Italian and mailed to Jason Renton at 1424 Linwood Ave., Metairie, La., 70003.

John's Tuxedos Irish-Italian Special

You can obtain your parade Tuxedos for $55.00 at John's Tuxedos in Metairie in you get fitted by March 1, 2013. Make sure you tell them you want "The Irish-Italian Special." If you do not order by then, you still get a discounted rate of $65.00. Please order your Tuxedo in advance and take advantage of this special rate.

On this site, you will find parade information as well as details regarding the events leading up to the parade, information about our Grand Marshalls, and the story of our great historical beginning that our founder Eddie Renton Sr. created back in 1983.

The primary purpose of this site is to deliver information about the parade, to increase awareness for the parade and the organization, to celebrate the heritage of both Irish and Italians, and overall, to contribute to the success and enjoyment that this great organization delivers annually to the people of our community.
